Pregnant with Twins Belly Shot (weeks 25, 26, 27)

It’s time for belly shots!

25 weeks pregnant with twins, 133 lbs

26 weeks pregnant with twins, 134 lbs
Measuring at 35 weeks with a singleton

27 weeks pregnant with twins, 137 lbs.

I am a little in disbelief that I’m this big and I have at least TEN more weeks to go (that would be a 37 week due date). I’ve gained 30 lbs now, so if I gain a pound a week for the next 10 weeks, I’ll be right on target for the 40 lb weight gain. And if I gain a little bit more…I’m OK with that, too. As long as the twins are big, healthy and ready to thrive in this world, I’ll do whatever I have to do!

You look great! I’m only having one and can’t believe I’m going to get bigger so what you’re going through is incomprehensible to me.

No wonder you were so tired on that busy weekend! Twins really make a bigger belly. Thanks for adding the week comparison to single babies. Your belly with twins is amazing. You look beautiful.

woo girl, ive been watching since…well a long time. i’m 25 weeks now and feel out of room already for my petite frame, i’m scared, lol, your pics are nice to see, you look awesome. i read your latest post. i hope your beans bake for quite a few more weeks. that must be scarey having those changes. i like to be realistic to, though i’m soo scared about complications and csections etc but i know they can be a reality and luck isn’t usually on my side. i pray all will stay well with you and the cervix stay the same for some time. i’ll be watching. nope i never forget the week and day i am in, lol. some of us just can’t stop our tracking, i love it! xoxo shelly

Love your belly shots! Hope you’re taking a good twins-specific prenatal course. If not, consider http://www.babiesinbelly.com prenatal classes taught in the convenience of your own home by a certified teacher and mother of twins!!

That’s right! It’s ok to gain weight as long as the babies are gaining weight and becoming healthy too. I can see that you’re a great mom by the way you talk, but don’t forget about yourself too. I hope you’ve had exercise after childbirth and that you’ve been visiting your OB since. It’s not just for pregnant women but for mothers who already gave birth too. How are the twins, by the way?
