The High Line

News & Events

During the summer months, the prolific growth of the park's flowers and grasses can make the High Line appear completely different from one week to the next. Navigate the changing landscape with our August Bloom List.

Earlier this season we were delighted to reopen our popular water feature, so come by the Diller – von Furstenburg Sundeck and cool off. While you're there, be sure to enjoy a sweet treat, savory meal, or refreshing drink from our food vendors.

The High Line is open daily, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Download a free High Line Guide and the latest High Line Art Map for your next visit.

We’re thrilled to announce that the National Building Museum has awarded its fifteenth Vincent Scully Prize to High Line Co-Founders Joshua David and Robert Hammond for their work in creating one of the most successful urban revitalization projects to date.

The Vincent Scully Prize recognizes exemplary scholarship, criticism, or practice in architecture, historic preservation, or urban design. David and Hammond will present an original talk, “Harnessing Friction,” as part of the public award ceremony at Washington D.C.’s National Building Museum on September 30.

High Line Art presents Adrian Paci's The Encounter (2011), PilgrIMAGE (2005), and Turn On (2004). Often inspired by autobiographical details and the transformations of his home country, Paci's works intertwine personal narratives with poetic chronicles of life in exile.

The film is projected daily on a loop within the 14th Street Passage, on the High Line at West 14th Street.
